SQ-AL Dining Chairs Attributed to Willy Rizzo

Attributed to Willy Rizzo for Maison Willy Rizzo in the 1970s, the SQ-AL chair is defined by a geometric chrome-plated steel frame with a floating backrest and lightly cantilevered seat. This set of four features upholstered seat and back panels covered in a graphic striped fabric in dark brown, burnt orange and ochre. The rectangular frame continues around the back and beneath the seat, creating the characteristic open construction of the design.
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use. The chrome frames retain a bright polished finish with fine scratches, small marks, localized oxidation and areas of surface wear, including some more pronounced losses around the joints and edges. The upholstery is intact throughout, with light surface wear and a few light marks consistent with age and use. The frames remain structurally sound and stable.
