Patchwork Modular Sofa by Laauser, 1970s Germany
A stunning six-part Mid-Century Modern patchwork cognac brown leather sectional sofa, produced in the late 1970s by Laauser, currently one of the most popular manufacturers on the vintage market for modular and sectional sofas. A 1970s statement of comfort and quality. Following the style of the De Sede DS-11 sofa. The seven modules of the sofa are completely independent and can be assembled in different variations.
No manufacturer's mark present, but sourced from the original owners. The leather has been professionally cleaned and protected. Easy maintenance. The sofa is in its original vintage condition and very well preserved. Expected signs of age and use are present. Structurally perfect. 1 module showing some highlighted wear on the leather, as indicated in the photos.
Bottom corners of some modules may show smaller scuffs, the biggest one indicated in the photos. Overall very well maintained.
