A burl wood ashtray produced in the 1970s, designed as a companion piece to a matching burl wood coffee table. The design emphasizes materiality, with the richly figured burl veneer serving as the primary visual element.
Constructed in wood with burl veneer throughout, the ashtray features a square form with a recessed circular metal insert. The expressive grain pattern and warm finish give the piece a strong visual presence.
Very good vintage condition with age-appropriate wear consistent with use. Minor surface wear, light scratches, and small marks visible to the burl veneer and metal insert, including scattered darker natural variations and surface imperfections to the wood.
