Verner Panton Dondolo Rocking Chair for Ycami
1 available
Designed by Verner Panton in 1994 and produced by Ycami Edizioni, the Dondolo is a rocking chair constructed from four interconnected anodised aluminium rings, with upholstered circular seat and backrest and wooden runners. The tubular aluminium structure forms the arms, side supports and seat frame, while the red fabric upholstery and geometric wooden runners create a strong contrast of materials and colour. The design was produced by Ycami from 1994 to 2009 and belongs to Panton's late, highly geometric approach to furniture design.
Very good vintage condition with minimal signs of age and use. The aluminium frame has scattered scratches, small abrasions and localized marks to the finish, particularly around the joints and along the lower frame. The red upholstery remains clean and strongly coloured overall, with localized fraying and small areas of wear along the edges where it meets the aluminium frame. The wooden runners have minor surface marks and wear.
Professionally cleaned.
