An iconic freestanding mirror known as the Unghia ("fingernail") or "Lipstick" mirror, designed by Italian designer Rodolfo Bonetto in the 1970s. This example is executed in black ABS plastic with its characteristic elongated oval mirrored surface.
Designed by Bonetto for Bilumen, this sculptural mirror reflects the futuristic Italian modernist aesthetic of the 1970s. The sharp tapering form and integral mirror insert create a striking vertical presence. Similar examples are documented in Italian design references of the era.
