Tubular Chrome Armchairs with Caramel-Brown Mohair

These two vintage armchairs feature polished chrome-plated tubular steel frames with continuous rounded bases and suspended upholstered seat and back elements. The frames form a geometric loop construction around the sides and rear, while the seat and back are upholstered in caramel-brown mohair. The combination of tubular chrome and plush upholstery places the pair within the modernist seating vocabulary of the 1970s.
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use to the original chrome frames. The chrome-plated tubular steel has fine scratches, small marks and localized areas of oxidation and surface wear, caramel-brown mohair is in excellent condition with lesser visible pressure marks. The frames remain structurally sound and stable.
