Triennale’ Shelving Systems by Lips Vago, 1954
0 available
A rare, striking set of three 'Triennale' modular shelving units by Lips Vago. Dark green lacquered metal, cantilevered shelves and distinctive rounded rectangular cutouts give the system a bold architectural presence.
Designed in 1954, the Triennale system reflects early postwar modernist and industrial design. The adjustable shelving mechanism and exposed structural elements emphasize both functionality and sculptural presence, making the set suitable for residential, studio, or gallery use. The units can be displayed together or arranged separately depending on space and preference.
In original vintage condition with expected signs of age, as indicated in the photos. Condition consistent with industrial use, scratching and rust are present. On the backside there are paint marks visible, indicated in the photos. Shelf adjustment mechanism functions as intended.
Will be disassembled for shipping.
