Tito Agnoli Leather Safari Chairs for Bonacina
1 available
Tito Agnoli Safari Chair designed for Bonacina in the 1960s, Italy. The model reflects Agnoli's exploration of relaxed seating through a tension-based construction, combining traditional craftsmanship with a modernist structural approach characteristic of Italian design in the period.
Dark-stained bentwood frame with rounded continuous arm and leg elements supports a suspended saddle leather seat and backrest. The thick leather panels are secured with visible stitching, rivets, and adjustable straps beneath the seat, allowing the sling structure to carry weight while maintaining flexibility and comfort.
Well preserved, in original vintage condition with nice consistent patina on the leather and expected signs of age. The leather is without cracks and still very solid. The frame features two smaller dents, structurally excellent. Leather straps on the backrest present and solid.
