Thonet-Style Chairs in Sage Green Bentwood
9 available
Italian modernist dining chairs with sage-green painted bentwood frames, woven cane seats and oval cane backrests. The steam-bent wooden construction, curved loop beneath the seat and rounded back frame give the chairs a distinctly Thonet-inspired character, interpreted in a lighter and more sculptural form. The design is consistent with Italian bentwood seating of the mid-20th century, although no specific designer or manufacturer has been established.
The painted frames show scattered scratches, small chips and localized losses to the finish, with some variation in surface wear. The cane has age-related discoloration and localized wear, including minor losses to some areas of the weave and edging. The frames remain structurally intact and all the chairs are structurally stable.
