‘Suspiral’ Chairs by Luigi Serafini for Sawaya & Moroni
5 available
A sculptural design by Italian artist and architect Luigi Serafini, the 'Suspiral' chair moves away from traditional form. Designed in 1984 for the avant-garde studio Sawaya & Moroni, it explores the relationship between metal and glass in an unconventional yet balanced way.
The backrest unfolds in a spiral, like a line traced in space, while the seat - a molded sheet of thick, clear glass - sits within the frame. Twisted front legs introduce a subtle dynamic element.
The chairs are priced and sold individually.
Only one chair retains the original label.
