Designed by Percival Lafer and produced by Lafer MP in Brazil, this side table follows the same construction as the larger coffee table, pairing a dark timber frame with a smoked glass top. The compact proportions highlight the clarity of the design and the precision of its joinery.
The smoked glass sits recessed within a square timber frame supported by four broad tapered legs that project above the top. Exposed metal fixings remain visible at each corner, while the thicker legs and shorter span give the piece a compact, balanced appearance.
Good vintage condition. Minor scratches and light wear to the smoked glass, including a small edge chip visible in the photographs. Light surface wear and handling marks to the timber frame, with minor abrasions to the legs. Construction remains stable.
