Designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in the 1970s, the Sapporo coffee table has a square walnut top with softly rounded edges supported by four broad slab legs. The low, substantial construction is defined by the continuous rounded edge of the tabletop and the vertical grain of the walnut across the legs. The table retains its original warm-toned finish.
Good vintage condition with expected cosmetic signs of age and use. The tabletop and frame have surface scratches, fine marks, abrasions and localized areas of finish wear, with some small chips and losses along the rounded edges and corners. The table remains structurally intact and stable, with the warm walnut finish and substantial construction well preserved.
