This round coffee table combines a clear glass top with a polished chrome-plated frame and grouped cylindrical supports. The three-part arrangement of each support, capped with exposed circular fittings, creates a distinctive architectural structure beneath the continuous tubular rim. Its geometric metalwork and reflective surfaces place it within the vocabulary of 1970s Modernist furniture, with formal parallels to Italian designs by Marco Zanuso and other designers exploring chrome and glass construction.
Good vintage condition. The chrome finish shows surface scratches, scattered spotting and areas of oxidation, with localized loss of finish near the lower ends of the supports and around some joints. The glass top presents well, with minor surface wear. The table is structurally stable.
