Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Frederick C. Robie House in Chicago (1908-1910), the Robie sofa was later introduced into production by Cassina as part of the I Maestri collection. Rather than adapting architectural motifs to furniture, the design was developed as part of the house itself, alongside its interiors and built-in furnishings.

Cherry veneer, black leather upholstery and broad horizontal armrests define the sofa. The side elements extend beyond the seat to provide usable surfaces, while the stepped timber profiles continue through the corners and feet. Cassina labels remain beneath the back cushions.

A matching coffee table is available in a separate listing.

The cherry veneer shows light surface scratches, small dents and isolated marks from use, with minor wear to a few edges and the lower feet. The leather upholstery has light creasing and scattered surface marks consistent with age. The Cassina labels are present beneath the cushions.
