A unique postmodern shelving unit in lacquered steel and beech finish, produced in Europe, likely dating to the late 1980s or early 1990s. Its architectural composition and restrained geometric language recall Dutch and Northern European postmodern furniture of the period.
The design features cylindrical steel supports in a deep green lacquered finish paired with two shelves in a warm beech tone. Clean lines and sculptural proportions give the piece a strong graphic presence while remaining highly functional.
In good vintage condition with minor signs of age and use, including light surface wear and small marks to the lacquered finish consistent with age.
