Postmodern Armchairs by Thema Italy
1 available
Italian armchairs manufactured by Thema, with the original maker's label marked "Thema - Made in Italy". The design features a vivid green lacquered tubular steel frame, formed into continuous angular side sections with integrated armrests, supporting an upholstered seat and gently curved backrest in black fabric. The vivid green frame and sharply defined geometry give the chairs a distinctly Postmodern character, with a colour contrast that recalls the graphic approach of the Memphis movement.
Good vintage condition, with signs of age and use. The green lacquered frames show scattered scratches, small chips and localized finish wear, particularly around the bends and armrests. The black upholstery is generally well preserved, with minor surface marks, and one tiny hole as visible in the photos. The chairs are structurally stable.
Professionally cleaned.
