Perforated Metal Dome & Marble Base Lamp
1 available
Pair of Italian Mid-Century table lamps with brushed metal hemispherical shades, perforated metal inner diffusers, cylindrical brass-toned stems and circular veined marble bases. The shallow bowl-shaped shade directs light through the finely perforated diffuser, producing a warm patterned glow when illuminated. The construction and materials are consistent with Italian lighting production of the 1950s-60s, with the form particularly comparable to contemporary Stilux Milano lighting, although an exact manufacturer or model has not been established.
In good vintage condition. The brushed metal shades show surface scratches while the perforated inner diffusers have localized oxidation, discoloration and areas of edge damage. The marble bases have some surface marks. The original-style electrical cords and inline switches show age-related wear.
Both lamps are functional.
Professionally cleaned.
The lamps hold two compact E27 bulbs due to the limited space inside the shade (one per lamp). Bulbs are not included.
