Dany Armchair by Aldo Barberi for Rossi di Albizzate
1 available
Dany armchair designed by architect Aldo Barberi for Giuseppe Rossi di Albizzate in 1973, with moulded ABS shell and tubular chrome-plated steel frame. The shell is formed as a continuous ergonomic seat with integrated armrests and supported by a distinctive sled-like frame. The original moulded designation and Rossi di Albizzate quality-control label are preserved beneath the shell, confirming the model, designer and manufacturer. The design is documented in Casa Amica (6 March 1973) and Domus no. 541 (December 1974). According to the previous owner, the chair was acquired at an auction held during the closure of the Rossi di Albizzate factory.
More chairs available in separate units.
The shell has light surface scratches and localized scuffing, including several small marks along the lower edges and inner seat area. The chrome-plated frame has surface scratches and localized wear to the finish, with minor oxidation visible in areas. The shell and frame remain structurally intact, with the protective feet preserved.
