De Sede DS-11 Patchwork Leather Modular Sofa, 1970s
An original De-Sede DS-11 modular sofa, one of the most popular modular sofas ever to exist, in dark brown patchwork leather. A 1970s statement of comfort and quality Consisting of five middle modules and one corner module.
The six modules of the sofa are completely independent and can be assembled in different variations.
The sofa is in its original vintage condition, well preserved with expected signs of age and use. Four middle modules are without any prior damages or repairs. One middle modules has one visible patch hiding a tear on the leather, and another patch underneath the backrest, not noticeable. The same module also had two tears on the leather that were professionally repaired - one visible, and another also on the underside of the backrest. The corner module had a couple of repairs and shows more signs of age. The repairs include tears on both ends of the backrest and underneath the backrest - glued with new leather underneath the tears, no risk of further expanding.
The leather has been professionally cleaned and protected. Condition is well depicted in the photos, but please feel free to contact us for any additional photos as we are limited by 10 photos per listing.
