Dany Armchairs by Aldo Barberi for Rossi di Albizzate
1 available
Dany armchairs designed by architect Aldo Barberi for Giuseppe Rossi di Albizzate in 1973, with moulded ABS shells and tubular chrome-plated steel frames. The chairs are stackable, with the shells formed as continuous ergonomic seats with integrated armrests and supported by distinctive sled-like frames. The original moulded designation and Rossi di Albizzate quality-control label are preserved beneath the shell, confirming the model, designer and manufacturer. The design is documented in Casa Amica (6 March 1973) and Domus no. 541 (December 1974). According to the previous owner, the chairs were acquired at an auction held during the closure of the Rossi di Albizzate factory.
More chairs available in separate units.
The ABS shells have localized scratches, scuffs and small areas of paint or surface loss, including marks along the lower edges and underside. The chrome-plated frames show surface scratches and localized wear to the finish, with some oxidation and minor losses around the joints. The chairs remain structurally intact, with the original shells, frames and protective feet preserved and they stack properly.
