Nesting Tables by Gianfranco Frattini for Meblo

Set of three nesting tables designed by Gianfranco Frattini, for Slovenian manufacturer Meblo in the 1970s. A vintage Yugoslavian production from the late 1970s or early 1980s. The design combines solid oak frames with smoked glass tops and can be used individually or grouped together as a compact arrangement. Rounded corner joints, thick slab legs and recessed glass panels define the construction.
The tables are structurally sound, with stable construction and the original smoked glass tops securely in place. The oak frames show scattered scratches, small knocks and localized finish wear, most noticeably around the legs, edges and corners. The glass tops display light surface scratches together with a few minor edge chips, all consistent with age and use.
