Modernist Black Ribbed and Tubular Chrome Chairs
1 available
Set of four Italian modernist dining chairs in Bauhaus style, produced in the 1970s. The chairs feature polished tubular steel frames with continuous, angular profiles and black ribbed upholstery across the seat and backrest. The seat upholstery curves around the front frame rail, while the backrest is held between the upright sections of the frame and finished with gently flared upper corners. The open construction and reflective chrome finish give the design a restrained late-modernist character.
The black ribbed upholstery shows light surface wear and some variation in appearance across the seat and backrest panels. The chrome-plated frames have scratches, localized pitting and areas of finish loss, particularly around the lower sections and joints. The frames and upholstery remain intact, with age-related wear consistent with use. The chairs are structurally stable.
Professionally cleaned.
