These modernist dining chairs combine polished tubular steel frames with solid-looking black wooden seats. The continuous bent-tube structure forms the backrest supports, front legs and low rectangular base, while the seat sits within a metal perimeter detail. The contrast between the dark wood and reflective steel gives the chairs a restrained, industrial character. The maker and exact production period have not been established.
In very good condition. The chairs show signs of use, with surface scratches and scuffing to the black wooden seats and localized wear to the chrome-plated frames. Some areas of the chrome have minor pitting and loss of plating. The overall finish remains presentable, with wear consistent with vintage use. All the chairs are structurally stable.
