    Manufactured by Kusch + Co, Germany, these stacking dining chairs were produced during the late 1970s or 1980s. They combine solid wood frames with moulded plywood seat and back panels finished in a translucent green stain that leaves the wood grain visible. The recessed seat, slotted backrest supports and square-section legs create a robust, high-quality construction while maintaining a restrained profile. Their simple detailing and practical construction reflect the functional design vocabulary associated with Mid-Century Modern furniture.

    The chairs are structurally sound and stack as intended. The frames show scattered scratches, small dents and areas of finish wear consistent with use. The plywood seats and backrests display light surface scratches, edge wear and isolated scuffs, including a few deeper marks shown in the photographs. No significant cracks, repairs or missing components were observed.
