One of two sculptural mid-century modern walnut pedestal ashtray stands, produced in the 1970s. The design reflects the era's interest in vertical, architectural forms combined with integrated functional elements.
Constructed in solid walnut with a warm, varied grain, the piece features a square top and base connected by a faceted central column with recessed detailing. The integrated chrome ashtray insert is set flush into the top surface, providing a functional contrast to the wood structure.
Overall very good vintage condition with expected signs of age and use, as shown in the photos. Structurally excellent and the mechanism works flawlessly.
