Mid Century Cream Two-Tier Coffee Table

This coffee table combines a smoked-glass top with a chrome-plated tubular frame and a cream lacquered central structure. The curved metal frame extends around the upper surface and lower platform, while the central structure incorporates an open recessed compartment and curved shelving. The contrast between tinted glass, reflective chrome and pale lacquer gives the table a sculptural, geometric quality, with an asymmetrical arrangement that is characteristic of Modernist furniture.
In very good vintage condition with signs of age and use throughout. The lacquered structure shows scuffs, small chips and localized marks. The chrome frame has scratches and areas of surface wear. The table is structurally stable.
