Set of four MG5 armchairs designed by Centro Studi for Matteo Grassi in 1979 and produced in Italy. The design combines a tubular chromed steel frame with suspended dark brown leather panels forming the seat and backrest. The polished tubular frame creates a continuous geometric outline, while stitched leather armrests, seat and backrest are tensioned within the structure.
All chairs marked with the original Matteo Grassi engraving.
Very good vintage condition with age-related wear. The leather shows light natural creasing, surface scratches and scattered scuffs, including a few small areas of finish loss visible in the photographs. The chromed steel frames remain bright with light surface scratches and minor wear consistent with age and use.
