Pair of armchairs by Matteo Grassi, Italy, produced in the late 20th century. The design combines a tubular chromed steel frame with suspended black leather panels forming the seat and backrest.
Constructed from polished chromed tubular steel and black leather. The continuous frame forms a precise geometric outline, softened by the gently curved leather seat and backrest suspended within the structure.
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The leather shows light creasing, scratches and surface marks consistent with use. The chrome frames present well with minor signs of age. One leather fastening cap shows visible cracking, as documented in the photographs.
