Mario Marenco Sapporo Coffee Table for Mobil Girgi
1 available
Designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi and produced in Italy during the 1970s, the Sapporo coffee table is defined by a thin square walnut-veneered top and substantial rounded corner supports. The four supports are composed of paired vertical elements that rise slightly above the tabletop, with matching rounded elements extending horizontally at each corner. The combination of the low rectangular plane, deeply rounded timber elements and continuous walnut finish gives the design its distinctive sculptural geometry.
In very good condition. The walnut veneer has light surface scratches and localized marks, including some more noticeable scratches on the tabletop and scattered marks to the rounded corner elements. There are small areas of surface wear and minor edge bruising, particularly around the lower and outer edges of the supports. The finish remains glossy overall, with some localized variation in sheen and surface wear consistent with age and use. Structurally stable.
Professionally cleaned.
