Designed by Luigi Massoni for Harvey Guzzini, the Lucerna floor lamp was introduced in the late 1960s. The lamp features a hemispherical acrylic shade in a warm caramel tone suspended on a chrome-plated tubular stem with a circular weighted base. The shade assembly slides along the central stem, allowing the height to be adjusted while maintaining its horizontal orientation. Two E14 light sources are housed within the shade, which has a white interior to reflect and diffuse light evenly.
Very good vintage condition with smaller expected signs of age, as depicted in the photos. Fully functional. The acrylic shade retains a high-gloss finish with scattered light surface scratches and minor marks from use, visible mainly under raking light. The chrome-plated stem, gallery and base remain bright overall, with light scratches and localized surface wear, most noticeably to the base.
