Leather Chairs Attributed to Gigi Radice & Pierangelo Gallotti
1 available
Attributed to Gigi Radice and Pierangelo Gallotti for Gallotti & Radice, Italy, during the 1960s, this set of four dining chairs is commonly known among collectors as the Nautical model. The chairs combine rosewood frames with suspended leather seat and backrest panels secured within routed uprights by brass fittings. They retain their original brown leather upholstery with visible natural grain and an even patina.
Very good vintage condition and structurally sound. The original leather upholstery remains supple and intact, showing an even patina, light creasing and minor surface marks consistent with age and use. The wooden frames display scattered scratches, small abrasions and isolated edge wear, with a few localised finish losses visible to the uprights and lower frame members. The brass fittings show light oxidation and wear consistent with age.
