Pair of Italian wall-mounted coat racks produced by La Moderna, likely dating from the 1970s, constructed with tall wooden frames enclosing woven cane panels. Each panel features vertical leather hanging elements with rounded wooden knobs, with the La Moderna name stamped into the leather. An original "modello depositato / La Moderna" label is present on the reverse; "modello depositato" indicates that the model was registered or deposited, rather than identifying a designer.
Good vintage condition with mainly cosmetic wear. The wooden frames have scratches, dents and finish wear, with the more pronounced marks on the rear surfaces and not visible when wall-mounted and in everyday use. The cane has some discoloration, localized breaks and deformation, while the leather elements show creasing and surface wear consistent with age. The overall structure is intact.
