Joe Colombo Model 300 Dining Chairs for Pozzi

Designed by Joe Colombo and produced in Italy in the 1970s by the manufacturer Pozzi. The Model 300 dining chair reflects the architectonic approach that characterises much of Colombo's furniture design. The chair combines a solid high-quality timber frame with upholstered seat and backrests held within the structure, creating a composition of simple geometric volumes and clean intersections. The gently arched backrest softens the otherwise rectilinear form, while the exposed frame emphasises the construction. The seats and backrests have been recently reupholstered in a black and white patterned fabric.
Good vintage condition. Structurally sound with no visible repairs. Newly reupholstered. The timber frames show scattered scratches, small chips and localised finish wear consistent with age and use.
