These dining chairs combine a dark-stained solid wood frame with a continuous seat and back upholstered in oxblood red leather. The curved frame forms the front legs, seat supports and back uprights, while the upholstered shell sits recessed within the wooden structure. A shaped rear rail follows the profile of the backrest, and the leather is finished with a piped edge that defines the outline of the shell. The broad proportions, rounded corners and low seat create a restrained, substantial silhouette.
The chairs are structurally sound with stable frames and no visible repairs. The leather shows an even patina with creasing, light scratches, small scuffs and pressure marks consistent with age and use, including localized wear to the upper backrests and seats. The solid wood frames have scattered scratches, abrasions and areas of finish wear, most noticeably along the legs, lower edges and rear rails. The set presents consistently, with only minor variations in wear between the individual chairs.
