Italian Elegant Modern Leather Dining Chair

Produced in Italy during the 1970s or 1980s. The chair combines a black leather upholstered seat and backrest with a light-toned hardwood frame. The reverse of the backrest is finished with a veneered wood panel, while the upholstery wraps around the panel edges to create a continuous profile. Broad square-section legs with rounded outer edges and the recessed seat and backrest give the chair its restrained, elegant modern character.
Very good vintage condition. The chair is structurally sound. The leather upholstery shows light creasing, minor surface marks and a few small nicks consistent with age and use. The timber frame has scattered superficial scratches, small abrasions and isolated edge wear, including minor marks to the legs and back panel. No significant structural movement or repairs were observed.
