Ingo Maurer Spring Spiral Table Lamp

Designed by Ingo Maurer, the Spring table lamp combines a chrome-plated tubular spiral structure with a rounded, slightly flattened opaline-glass globe. The globe is supported above the open spring by a central metal stem, while the electrical cable runs visibly through the spiral structure. The lamp represents the Space Age lighting vocabulary of late-1960s and 1970s German design.
Very good vintage condition with light signs of age and use. The chrome-plated spiral shows light surface wear and the electrical cord and inline switch show some age-related discoloration.
