Iconic ‘LC3’ Two-Seater Sofa by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand and Pierre Jeanneret
1 available
A vintage iconic LC3 two-seater sofa designed by Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, and Pierre Jeanneret, presented here in a rich maroon leather with a chromed steel frame.
Designed in 1928 in Le Corbusier's Paris studio along with Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand, the LC line marked a pivotal moment in architecture and design. Decorative, upholstered furniture was replaced by pieces that showcase their construction proudly - a chromed tubular steel frame was no longer hidden, it was now the centerpiece.
The piece features original engraving underneath one of the chromed steel armrests. Visible in the photo before last.
In very good vintage condition with expected signs of age, as indicated in the photos.
