Iconic six-piece seating set designed by Mario Bellini and produced by C&B Italia (B&B Italia), comprising of three first-edition Camaleonda modules and three 'Gli Scacchi' side table modules.

Designed by famed Italian architect and designer Mario Bellini for C&B Italia in 1970, the iconic Camaleonda modules are seen here in their original upholstery, an ivory cotton-velvet material. An icon of design and one of the most easily recognizable design pieces of all time.
Accompanying the modules are three different pieces of the 'Gli Scacchi' modular companion side tables which can be configured in various arrangements as needed. The elements are meant to each present a third of the size of one 'Camaleonda' module.

All parts are labeled.

The entire set comes from the original owners who purchased it in the early 1970s, in the middle of the company transition from C&B Italia to B&B Italia. For this reason, two modules purchased have a C&B Italia label, while one has a B&B Italia label. The C&B Italia modules are approx. 2.5cm higher, as shown in the photos.

In entire set is in its original condition, very well preserved with smaller expected signs of age.
Original ivory cotton upholstery, no longer in production (beige-pearl colour). The upholstery has been professionally cleaned. The outer lining protecting the foam underneath the upholstery has also been repaired to stop any possible degradation in the future and allow future owners to be able to take off and wash the upholstery without damaging the foam structure. One module features a few small stains, highlighted in the photos. All modules are structurally excellent.
The 'Gli Scacchi' are also in very good condition, structurally excellent, and feature some minor losses at the bottom, as depicted in the photos.
