Geometrical Chairs by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF
1 available
Pair of Memphis Design postmodern geometrical chairs designed by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF, produced in Germany during the 1980s. The model reflects the industrial and graphic language of late 20th-century German design, combining strict geometry with contrasting materials in a manner associated with postmodern experimentation.
Black lacquered metal frames form rectilinear arm and leg structures, supporting a curved aluminium backrest plate with perforated square cut-outs along the top edge. The seats are upholstered in black leather, slightly suspended within the frame, creating a clear interplay between planar metal surfaces and softened seating elements.
Very good vintage condition with expected signs of age. Surface scratches present on the backrest. Less visible stacking marks present on the seats. Both depicted in the photos.
