The model is recognized for its sculptural, cocoon-like diffuser and organic silhouette, reflecting the Castiglionis' experimental approach to lighting design.
The lamp features an internal steel structure with a sprayed resin cocoon diffuser, creating a softly textured, translucent surface. Its rounded, tapered form and ribbed construction give the piece a sculptural presence whether illuminated or unlit.
Manufacturer label and inline switch are present, both shown in the listing photos.
Very good condition. The lamp is fully functional and retains its original sculptural form. Minor signs of age and use are visible, including light surface wear and several small glossy marks/scuffs to the cocoon resin diffuser, visible in close-up photographs.
