Designed by François Monnet for the French manufacturer Kappa during the 1970s, this coffee table combines a clear glass top with a sculptural brushed steel base. Curved sheet-metal supports are arranged around a central structure and joined by a system of metal rods and spherical fasteners. The sweeping steel forms contrast with the transparent, square glass top.

In very good vintage condition. The glass top has surface marks and a small localized blemish near the edge. The brushed steel base shows surface scratches and scuffing, with visible wear and discolouration around the fasteners and joints. The metal surfaces retain their brushed finish. The table is structurally stable.

Professionally cleaned.
