Designed by Ruud Ekstrand and Christer Norman for DUX in 1968, the Formula chairs feature chromed tubular steel cantilever frames with shaped upholstered seats and backrests. The continuous tubular structure forms an angled cantilever support with sled-like floor runners, while the separate seat cushions sit within the upholstered frame. This set is upholstered in a saturated cobalt blue fabric.
Good vintage condition with signs of age and use. The blue upholstery has light creasing from use and age. The chrome-plated frames show light scratches and surface marks, with localized areas of oxidation and minor pitting, particularly along the lower sections. The frames remain structurally sound and stable.
