A very rare early production of the now iconic 'Alky' lounge chair designed by Giancarlo Piretti for Anonima Castelli, Italy, during the 1970s.
Elegant red faux leather upholstery and wooden legs, specific for the first edition.
Labeled.
Overall in very good vintage condition. The original upholstery is well preserved and remains structurally sound, with many years of use ahead. A subtle line indentation is present on the front section of the upholstery, visible only from certain angles. Two small areas were previously repaired by the former owner (shown in the photos). Additionally, there are a few tiny, barely noticeable black specks on parts of the fabric, consistent with age-appropriate patina, along with a pin-sized hole.
