This vintage dining chair features a padded seat and back cushion supported by a continuous chrome-plated tubular steel cantilever frame. The rounded rectangular cushions are upholstered in a dark olive-green faux leather, while the frame forms a broad looping base with curved supports around the backrest. The combination of tubular chrome and dark upholstery places the chair within the Modernist seating vocabulary of the 1970s.
Good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use to the original frames. The chrome-plated tubular frames retain a bright finish with fine scratches, small marks and localized areas of oxidation and surface loss. The chairs remain structurally sound and stable.
Professionally cleaned. Newly reupholstered in high-quality faux leather; the accompanying image from the textile manufacturer shows the exact colour and finish of the material used.
