'Cosinus' Chair by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF
0 available
'Cosinus' chairs designed by Karl Friedrich Förster for KFF, produced in Germany during the 1980s. A strong example of German postmodern industrial design, the model reflects Memphis-influenced geometry through the interplay of curved and rectilinear steel elements.
The black lacquered steel frame forms two continuous arched side supports intersected by straight horizontal and vertical members, creating a clear architectural structure. The seat and distinctive semi-circular backrest are upholstered in black leather, visually suspended within the rigid frame. The contrast between precise geometry and softened leather surfaces gives the chair its sculptural presence while maintaining functional comfort.
Very good vintage condition with expected signs of use, as noted in the photos. A slight height difference may be present due to the cantilever construction.
