Spherical cocoon floor lamp with a translucent fibrous shade formed over a fine internal structure and divided into vertical sections by narrow ribs. The shade is supported on a slender chrome-plated metal stem with a circular chrome base, creating a tall, minimal structure. The lamp retains its original-style black electrical cord and inline foot switch and produces a warm diffused light when illuminated.
Good vintage condition with age-related wear. The cocoon membrane has developed an overall warm beige-brown patina consistent with age, with surface scratches, fine marks and localized darker areas. There are a few small localized punctures to the membrane, including minor damage around the lower opening. The chrome-plated stem and base have surface scratches and localized areas of wear. The lamp is functioning.
Professionally cleaned.
Holds one E27 bulb. Bulb not included.
