Set of 4 German modernist chairs designed by Hans Fiedler and Hans Heyder in the 1970s.
The set includes four pieces of the popular model used in public buildings in the GDR (East Germany), including the Palace of the Republic. The chair frames may include or exclude a support bar for stacking.
In very good vintage condition with expected signs of age, as indicated in the photos. Scratching present on the chromed steel frames. Reupholstered in a muted dark olive green boucle material.
