Cascade Chandelier Attributed to Gaetano Sciolari

Attributed to Gaetano Sciolari, this Italian chandelier dates from the 1970s and combines a circular chrome-plated metal canopy with multiple suspended chains, cylindrical chrome elements and transparent spherical glass elements. The cascading structure contains eight light sources arranged at different heights, creating a layered vertical composition. The combination of polished metal, glass spheres and suspended tubular elements is characteristic of Sciolari's Space Age lighting designs of the period.
Good vintage condition with cosmetic wear consistent with age and use. The chrome-plated surfaces have scratches, abrasions and localized areas of finish wear, with more pronounced wear to some of the cylindrical elements and the outer edge of the ceiling canopy. The glass spheres have minor surface marks and age-related imperfections. The chandelier is functioning.
Holds eight E14 bulbs.
