Designed by Mario Bellini in 1970 for B&B Italia, the Camaleonda is a modular seating system distinguished by its generously padded, tufted elements and flexible configuration. The deep chocolate brown leather upholstery covers rounded seat, backrest and armrest sections, which are connected by the system's characteristic metal rings and tie-rods. The sculptural, low-profile forms and pronounced tufting define the system's distinctive appearance. The manufacturer's label identifies the design as Camaleonda by M. Bellini, with a handwritten inspection marking.

The sofa is in excellent vintage condition, with the original brown leather remarkably well preserved for its age. The leather retains its rich colour, natural sheen and supple appearance, with the padded forms remaining well defined. A small surface tear has been professionally repaired and represents the only identified damage. The leather otherwise presents exceptionally well with a very subtle and even patina, and retaining its elasticity.

Professionally cleaned.
