Attributed to Willy Rizzo for Mario Sabot, this table was produced in Italy during the 1970s. The coffee table combines a low, rectangular body with a recessed plinth base. The brown burl wood veneer is divided by fine contrasting inlaid lines, framing a rectangular brass-lined recessed basin at the centre of the top. The solid geometric form and layered profile are complemented by the warm wood grain and brass detailing.

Very good vintage condition, with a well-preserved overall appearance. The brown finish shows minor surface marks, light wear and localized discolouration, with a small chip to the front apron. The lower edges and corners of the plinth base show additional scuffing and small areas of finish loss. The brass insert has developed surface patina and scattered spotting. The table is structurally sound.

Professionally cleaned.
